Pourquoi Le sang des autres ? C'est un livre est (assez) court ; on en a peu discuté ; il porte sur la question de la liberté de reproduction, et donc lié aux thèmes de notre prochaine conférence. Le sujet brûlant de ce qu’il faut faire pendant une occupation pourrait aussi sembler pertinent pour certain.e.s d’entre nous. C’est un meilleur livre que Beauvoir ne le pensait avec un peu de recul, et il y a beaucoup de matière à réflexion. 

Pour ceux.celles qui n’ont pas encore participé à une de nos réunions, ce groupe est vraiment informel pour des personnes de n’importe quelle discipline (ou qui n’ont pas de discipline). Vous pouvez lire le roman en anglais ou en français, et vous pouvez parler dans la langue avec laquelle vous êtes le plus confortable (nous faisons des traductions dans le chat). N’hésitez pas à nous joindre, et à partager ce message avec ceux.celles que vous connaissez qui pourraient aussi s’intéresser à cette discussion.

[EN] The Blood of Others

Why The Blood of Others? well, it's short(ish); it's underdiscussed; it bears on issues of reproductive freedom, so it relates to the theme of our upcoming conference. The topic of what to do during an Occupation might also feel, um, apposite, for some of us. It's a better book than Beauvoir in hindsight thought it was, and there's lots of food for thought. 
For those who haven't participated before, it's a very informal group for people of any discipline (or no discipline). People can read the book in either English or French,  and can speak in whichever language they're most comfortable with (we translate for each other in the chat). Please consider coming, and please share this with anyone you know who might be interested.
